Description

The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting offers under Solicitation No. VA786-13-R-0225 for the following: Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to pickup government-furnished niche covers and deliver completed covers to the cemetery. The Contractor must use covers provided by the cemetery for the purpose of this contract. This service includes all labor and materials necessary to provide and deliver, FOB Destination, inscriptions on Government Furnished blank granite niche covers for M.J. Dolly Cooper South Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 140 Inway Drive, Anderson, SC 29621. The Period of performance is the October 1, 2013 through September 30, 2014 with four (4) 1-year options to extend the term of the contract through September 30, 2018 if exercised by the Government. All work shall be performed in accordance with the specifications, drawings, terms and conditions of the contract. This acquisition is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS Code is 327991. Size standard of 500 Employees is applicable. The contractor shall have twenty (20) calendar days as counted from the date following the day an order is sent to the contractor until the monuments are manufactured, inscribed, packaged and delivered to the cemetery address listed above. Evaluation criteria for this award will be in the following descending order: 1) Price 2) Technical, 3) Past Performance. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from Federal Business Opportunities http://www.FedBizOpps.gov on or around July 17, 2013. Responses to the solicitation are due by 2:00 p.m., July 30, 2013. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments to the solicitation which is available at FedBizOpps.
