- Description
- Perform repair and preventive maintenance (PM) on Government Owned Material Handling Equipment (MHE) as required for the following commissaries: Eielson Air Force Base, Anchorage Area, Fort Greely and Fort Wainwright Commissaries and Fort Wainwright CDC. MHE consists of: battery chargers, Electric Pallet Jacks, Electric/Gas/Propane Forklifts, Reach and Tiers, and Order Picker/Stock Selectors. The Period of Performance is one year from date of award, no options. The solicitation and resulting contract will include Firm Fixed Price (FFP) line items for PM and Time and Materials (T&M) line items for unscheduled repairs. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about August 6, 2013 with a tentative closing date of September 6, 2013. The anticipated award date is September 30, 2013. This procurement is being issued as a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811310 and the business size standard is $7 million. Vendors shall be registered in the SAM( https://www.acquisition.gov/ ), to include listing NAICS 811310 in order to be eligible for award. All responsible business sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered.
