Description
PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: RENOVATE PRIMARY CARE, PROJECT 526-13-106 This notice is for Solicitation VA243-13-B-1204 to RENOVATE PRIMARY CARE, PROJECT 526-13-106 at the James J. Peters Bronx VAMC, 130 W. Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, New York 10468. This shall be a Total Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). As a result all certified SDVOSB's may submit a bid, which shall be considered by the agency. This project is classified under NAICS Code 236220, and has a size standard of $33.5 Million. The cost estimate range for this project is between $2,000,000 and $5,000.000. The work for this requirement consists of, but is not limited to the following statement of work: Description: The Contractor must furnish all labor, design, materials, tools and supervision to complete the following. SOW is inclusive but not limited to the following for fully functional primary care space of approximately 8,600 square feet. Renovation of the suite B on the first floor in building 100 of the James J. Peters Medical Center includes but is not limited to temporary construction barriers, demolition, and asbestos removal. New work encompasses modification of electrical, plumbing, sprinkler, and HVAC systems, and associated controls, interior finishes and equipment. Work is to be completed in a single phase. The current Primary Care Service is to be relocated to other areas of the Medical Center while construction is being completed. The completion time for this work is critical, and is expected at 330 Calendar Days from NTP. This time frame includes a period of 8 months for actual construction, 2 months for submittal reviews, and one month for project close out. All other details and information shall be contained in the solicitation which shall be posted on www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation will be released on or around AUGUST 8, 2013. The bid submittal address, date and time will be included in the solicitation. This project requires bonding and all bid submissions shall be in hardcopies; faxed or e-mailed bids will not be accepted. All bidders shall have active CVE verification status and be registered in: www.vetbiz.gov, www.ccr.gov, http://orca.bpn.gov, and https://vets100.vets.dol.gov/ End of Description
