- FAR 52.222-48 Exemption from Application of Service Contract Act to Contracts for Maintenance, Calibration, or Repair of Certain Equipment Certification (FEB 2009) DFARS 252.209-7995 Representations by Corporations Instructions to Quoters Solicitation N0018913TG144 SLC Troubleshoot & Repair Nida Model 130E Consoles The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Groton, CT Office, intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed-Price contract to troubleshoot and repair no more than (32) Nida Corporation, Model 130E Consoles restoring them to factory-built, peak performance condition within the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications for the Submarine Learning Center at the Naval Submarine Base in Groton, CT. The subject service will be acquired in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The estimated required period of performance is 30 days from contract award. The North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 333318. A request for quote will be available for download on or about 26 July 2013 at website: https://www.fbo.gov. Potential vendors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available by downloading the documents at the above web sites. This office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the quote. Through its submission, the vendor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a vendor ineligible for award. Vendors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.
