This is a Sources Sought only. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is performing market research to determine if there are any vendors with economic status of Service Disabled Veteran Owned, Veteran Owned, Women Owned, and other Small Businesses that can provide installation and maintenance of Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF) and all its components on Emergency Stationary Standby Generator diesel engines at the Department of Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care system (VAPAHCS) Menlo Park Division, Located at 795 Willow Rd. Menlo Park CA. This requirement is a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The period of performance is for base year plus four option years. The base year is to begin on/about 1 September 2013 to August 30, 2014. The socio-economic status of the responders will determine the type of set-aside. Summary of Work: Please see the attached Statement of Work dated July 26, 2013. There is no solicitation document as this time. The NAICS is 811310 with Small Business size of $7 million. Only firms interested should send their information and/or capability statement and any questions by email to felicia.demita@va.gov no later than 4:00 PM Pacific Standard Time, August 2, 2013. Information should include: Name of Company, POC name, phone numbers, email address, Expiration date and DUNS number. Socio-economic status such as Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, VOSB, Women-Owned Small Business, etc. should be included. Status will be verified using VetBiz.
