- The Bureau of Land Management has a requirement for a fuels reduction/vegetation improvement project in the Lead, South Dakota area. This requirement is for grinding (mastication) and selective thinning on 71 acres in the Exemption Area of the Black Hills. Work under this contract is located in Lawrence County, SD. The period of performance is 180 days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Work will start in September 2013. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $150,000. Please check the solicitation for all required documentation to be submitted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 115310. This is a total set aside for Small Business Concerns. The small business size standard is $17.5 million. Prospective contractors must be registered System Award Management (SAM) prior to award.
