Description
The original solicitation/synopsis was posted through the Navy Electronic Business Opportunities website known as NECO on July 1, 2013, however, the website at www.navy.neco.mil is currently down. The purpose of this posting is to ensure all solicitation/synopsis documents previously posted to NECO are available in FEDBIZOPPS. PROPOSALS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED FROM THE FOLLOWING LIST OF CONTRACTORS ON THE WEIGHT HANDLING EQUIPMENT MULTIPLE AWARD CONTRACT (WHEMAC): Heco-Pacific Manufacturing, Inc., 1510 Pacific Street, Union City, CA 94587 (Contract N62470-10-D-8000) Advanced Crane Technologies, 11 Vanguard Drive, Reading, PA 19606 (Contract N62470-10-D-8003) Crane Technologies Inc., 1954 Rochester Industrial Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48309 (Contract N62470-10-D-8004) American Crane and Equipment Corp., 531 Old Swede Road, Douglassville, PA 19518 (Contract N62470-10-D-8005) This procurement includes five underrunning bridge, underhung hoist, pendant controlled, overhead electric traveling (OET) cranes. The capacity of three cranes shall be 7.5-ton, one crane shall be 9-ton and the remaining crane shall be a 5-ton capacity. A 7.5-ton crane will be located in the Structural Bay (Rm 101), Assembly/Disassembly Bay (Rm 102), and MOD/ISR Bay (Rm 103). The 9-ton crane will be located in MOD/ISR Bay (Rm 104). The 5-ton crane will be located in the Tail Pylon MGB (Rm 134). The 7.5-ton cranes and the 9-ton crane shall have three runway rails each. The 5-ton crane shall have two runway rails. All cranes will be installed in the Rotary Aircraft Depot Maintenance Facility, NAVBASE Coronado, San Diego, California. The cranes shall be designed, fabricated, assembled, shop tested, delivered, installed, inspected, field tested, and made ready for use in accordance with this specification. The cranes shall be built to the design drawings of a registered professional engineer.
