Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE seeking the interest of potential and eligible contractors in an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Service Contract for Grease Traps at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. OFFERS OR PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. THIS IS NOT A PRESOLICITATION OR SOLICITATION. ADDITIONALLY, THIS NOTICE DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE GOVERNMENT TO AWARD A CONTRACT OR MULTIPLE CONTRACTS; AND, IT DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE GOVERNMENT TO PAY FOR ANY BID AND/OR PROPOSAL PREPARATION COSTS. Proposed work to be performed under the aforementioned contact is anticipated to be within the following North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes as follows: 562998 The work to be performed is as follows: The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment and labor necessary to pump, clean, inspect, repair, and maintain grease traps located at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. The contractor shall remove all fats, oils, and greases (FOG) and residues from the grease traps. Clean all interior and exterior surfaces of the grease traps, and the area surrounding the grease traps on a frequency schedule provided in service summary. Contractor shall clear obstructions in inlet/outlet and connecting pipes in between grease traps to ensure unrestricted flow (Frequency amount stated in table below). Contractor shall transport all materials from grease traps to an approved off-base disposal facility. Contractor shall steam/jet rod the drain lines associated with the grease traps every three months, or sooner if necessary, to ensure proper flow from the source (e.g., kitchen sinks) to 60 feet past last grease trap of facility. Contractor shall keep the work area reasonably clean during the work effort, and shall clean the work area after completing their tasks. Contractor shall repair grease traps to maintain fully operational conditions. The types of repairs shall include replacement of seals/gaskets on grease trap lids, repair/replacement of interior baffles, and repair/replacement of pipes/fittings directly associated (e.g., physically part of the original grease trap) with the grease traps. The Government intends to evaluate offers and select the awardee by evaluating the lowest price-technically acceptable proposal. In responding to this Sources Sought Notification, indicate your interest as a prime contractor, teaming partner, joint venture, primary subcontractor and indicate if your business is a SBA Certified Section 8(a) Program Participant, SBA Certified Historically Underutilized Zone (HUB Zone) Firm, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business, Woman Owned Business, Small Business, Large Business or a combination of these. Additionally, please provide company name, cage code, point of contact with phone number, fax and email. Pertinent information about the contractor is encouraged to be included. NO PHONE CALLS WILL BE TAKEN IN RESPONSE TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT. Information must be submitted to the previously stated point of contact no later than the time and date listed within the response due date. Companies shall also provide a capability statement as well to the email addresses above. An actual solicitation is expected to be issued sometime during the fall of 2013. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. Paper copies will NOT be available. The entire solicitation, including the specifications and/or drawings, will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Interested Parties are solely responsible for monitoring the aforementioned site for the release of the solicitation package and/or any updates and/or amendments to any and all subject documents. It is the sole responsibility of all Interested Parties to register for notification updates to any and all subject documents for the said action. All contractors MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database or their proposal will not be considered.
