DUE: July 30, 2013 SET ASIDE: N/A NAICS: 339112 POP STATE: NEW YORK PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: New York Harbor Healthcare System, Manhattan Campus located at 423 East 23rd Street, New York, NY 10010 AGENCY: Veteran's Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs NOTICE TYPE: SOURCES SOUGHT Synopsis: Please note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals as the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 3 is currently conducting a market survey for qualified firms capable of providing via a long-term rental "the rental of a CVX-300 Excimer laser system (brand name or equal) for the NY O.R at the New York Harbor Healthcare System, Manhattan Campus located at 423 East 23rd Street, New York, NY 10010." The vendor will be responsible for: providing a laser system, as stated above, that is approved for use in the removal of cardiac pacemaker and defibrillator leads. The long-term rental agreement will include full service maintenance of the laser system. Responses to this notice must be submitting in writing (email or fax) and must be received not later than August 6, 2013 at 3:00PM. Interested parties MUST provide company/individual name, a capability statement, examples of same or similar work performed at other facilities, DUNS number, address, point of contact and social-economic status verification. To be eligible for consideration, offerors will have been engaged in providing equipment as detailed in the synopsis above and be capable of presenting certification of such with verifiable references. Interested parties who do not submit the above information on or before the response due date and time will not be considered for this procurement. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, women owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business). Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on GSA Advantage (https://www.gsaadvantage.gov), Federal Business opportunities website http://www.fbo.gov and/or via the FedBid portal (http://www.fedbid.com) at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.
