- The National Park Service intends to issue a Request For Proposal (RFP) for the service of Solid Waste pick-up and disposal at Ozark National Scenic Riverways, Van Buren, Missouri. Solid waste pickup will be performed within Ozark National Scenic Riverways Lower Current and Jacks Fork areas. The NAICS code is 562111 with the size standard of $12.5M. The award can be made for each district within the Ozark National Scenic Riverways, using a firm fixed price contract. All size businesses are encouraged to provide a quote. The solicitation will be released and made available to the public free of charge by electronic posting. Any prospective bidder may obtain bid documents on line via internet address at https://www.fbo.gov or at https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect/Default.htm. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be mailed, faxed or emailed. Plan holders will be required to visit the website periodically to check for amendments and other changes to the solicitation document. No other notification will be sent. The proposed acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR PART 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and PART 37 - Service Contracting. This project is subject to Service Contract Act. This solicitation will be issued electronically at www.fbo.gov and at https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect/Default.htm. In order to provide a response to the issued solicitation, vendors will need to register in the Fedconnect website (https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect/Default.htm). Search by referencing the solicitation number and/or by the agency (National Park Service). PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE MADE AVAILABLE. Proposal documents will be available for download in one or a combination of, the following formats: Microsoft Word, HTML and Adobe PDF. Specifications and drawings will be available in Adobe PDF format. Free downloads of Adobe "reader" software are available at www.adobe.com. The Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) (www.fbo.gov) web site maintains an Interested Vendors List/Bidders Mailing List's. Vendors can add their information to these lists through each of the websites. Potential offeror's will be required to visit either website periodically to check for amendments and other changes to the contract documents. No other notifications will be sent.
