- This is a small business set-aside procurement. Request for Proposal No. DOLJ13SA00005 for Job Corps Outreach/Admissions in Southern California will be available approximately August 15, 2013, at www.fbo.gov. Job Corps is a program that targets disadvantaged and at-risk youth ages 16 through 24. The program emphasizes long-term employability by providing educational and occupational skills training along with support services in a residential setting. The successful offeror will provide Outreach/Admissions for 2536 arrivals annually in Southern California. The resultant contract will cover the period May 1, 2014 to April 30, 2015 plus three unilateral option years. A pre-proposal conference will not be held. All questions should be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer, Sheryl Algee, algee.sheryl@dol.gov. Proposals in response to this RFP will be due no later than 5:00 p.m. local time on September 16, 2013, at the following address: Sheryl Algee Contracting Officer.
