- Amendment 1 to this announcement consists of the following: 1. Incorporates Question and Answer #1 from Site Visit conducted 24 Jul 13. 2. Incorporates revised Performance Work Statement dated 29 Jul 13 (changes highlighted in red). 3. Incorporates sign-in sheet from site visit conducted 24 Jul 13. 4. Makes minor changes to CLINs 0003, 1002, and 2003 to also reference Para 1.5.2 from the PWS. 5. Extend the closing date for this solicitation from 2:00pm (GMT+01:00, Rome) 5 August 2013 to 2:00pm (GMT+01:00, Rome) 9 August 2013. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W912PF-13-R-0105 and this solicitation is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). The solicitation is unrestricted and all interested offerors shall submit written or electronic email quotes (oral quotes will not be accepted). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 541380. The purpose of this combined synopsis/solicitation is to purchase the following service: Long Term Monitoring of Various Contaminated Cleanup Sites. The Contractor (KTR) shall perform the service of geochemical and geological monitoring of groundwater at various sites. The Contractor shall identify the general hydrogeologic and hydrogeochemical conditions and the relationship to the existing contamination. As a result of the study, the Contractor shall identify the presence of contamination in relation to the groundwater flow directions, and provide maps and groundwater analysis reports.
