- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation- FDA-SOL-1119404 Subject: Request for Quote Sequencing Workstation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, (STREAMLINED PROCEDURES FOR EVALUATION AND SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ), using the Simplified Acquisitions Procedures of FAR 13. The solicitation document/incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the current Federal Acquisition Circular: FAC 2005-64. Please note: Award will be made subject to availability of funding. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price contract. 1.) DESCRIPTION One (1) Sequencing Workstation. 2) PRICING CHART: All charges must be included in the quote. Any charges presented after contract award shall be unacceptable. CLIN ITEM QUANTITY PRICE (EA) Total 0001 Sequencing Workstation 1 0002 Two Year Extended Warranty 1 0003 Delivery 1 3.) Salient Characteristics of the Sequencing Workstation. 1.) Must include a 96 channel head for aspirating/dispensing 2.) Must include a temperature controlled shaker (4-70deg C) 3.) Must have at least one temperature controlled locator (4-100deg C) 4.) Must be completely containable from outside environment with doors for accessibility. 5.) Must be able to process all combinations of a 96 well plate (single well, column, row, or whole plate) 6.) Must have at least one magnetic bead locator 7.) Must come with the following pre-developed protocols/procedures preloaded and validated: a.) Post PCR magbead clean up using Agencoury Ampure XP b.) qPCR setup using KAPA Biosystem Library Quants Kit c.) Sample normalization base on qPCR results d.) Caliper Labchip GX II DNA sizing chip preparation e.) Protocols must be vendor neutral. 4) Packing, Marking, Delivery and Shipping: -All deliverables required under this contract shall be packaged, marked and shipped in accordance with Government specifications. -At a minimum, all deliverables shall be marked with the contract number and contractor’s name. -The Contractor shall guarantee that all required materials shall be delivered in immediate usable and acceptable condition, packages of both spectrometers should be sealed and of robust construction. Delivery of the Sequencing Workstation shall be made to: Food & Drug Administration 5100 Paint Branch Parkway College Park, MD 20740 5) RFQ Instructions: The vendor must complete the Pricing Chart provided in this RFQ. Responses shall have the following information: - Identified with the RFQ number. - The vendor must complete the Pricing Chart above. - Responses shall be submitted to the Contract Specialist’s email below. - Quotes must be for all the items requested or none. - Quotes must remain valid for 90 days. - Response Due Date shall be no later than: August, 14th at 12:00 pm EST.
