- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation- FDA-SOL-1119213 Subject: Request for Quote Multi-Sample Homogenizers. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, (STREAMLINED PROCEDURES FOR EVALUATION AND SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ), using the Simplified Acquisitions Procedures of FAR 13. The solicitation document/incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the current Federal Acquisition Circular: FAC 2005-64. Please note: Award will be made subject to availability of funding. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price contract. 1.) DESCRIPTION Two (2) Multi-Sample Homogenizers. 2) PRICING CHART: All charges must be included in the quote. Any charges presented after contract award shall be unacceptable. CLIN ITEM QUANTITY PRICE (EA) Total 0001 Multi-Sample Homogenizer 2 3.) Salient Characteristics of the Automated Liquid Chromatography Unit. Process 6 samples per unit or 12 samples per 2 units (2 units are requested). Provide probes that are disposable in order to eliminate potential cross contamination. Process most typical samples in less than 1 minute. The unit or units are quiet and noiseless when operating. Computer control with store programs to set time and speed for consistent sample processing. Flexible design to allow efficient processing for all sample sizes. Positive airflow to allow exhaust to a fume hood. Clear splash guard to allow sample viewing and prevents splashing. Sample sizes to be processed: 025mL to ~30 mL. Speed control requirements of 500 – 30,000rpm. Oscillating action to allow thorough homogenization of samples. Compatible with 2, 5, 15 and 50 centrifuge tubes. 4) Packing, Marking, Delivery and Shipping: -All deliverables required under this contract shall be packaged, marked and shipped in accordance with Government specifications. -At a minimum, all deliverables shall be marked with the contract number and contractor’s name. -The Contractor shall guarantee that all required materials shall be delivered in immediate usable and acceptable condition, packages of both spectrometers should be sealed and of robust construction. Delivery of the Multi-Sample Homogenizers shall be made to: Food & Drug Administration 5100 Paint Branch Parkway College Park, MD 20740 5) RFQ Instructions: The vendor must complete the Pricing Chart provided in this RFQ. Responses shall have the following information: - Identified with the RFQ number. - The vendor must complete the Pricing Chart above. - Responses shall be submitted to the Contract Specialist’s email below. - Quotes must be for all the items requested or none. - Quotes must remain valid for 90 days. - Response Due Date shall be no later than: August, 14th at 12:00 pm EST.
