- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to solicit for one hundred and twenty five (125) tungsten rods in various sizes, four hundred and ninety (490) bronze rods, and one (1) lot of alloy 958 3x2 tube. The solicitation number is N0016713T0074. It is anticipated that this procurement will be released on or before 30 August 2013. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small businesses. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 331491 and the business size standard is 750 employees. The NSWCCD intends to negotiate a competitive procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 and award a firm fixed-price purchase order. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation requirements. The Government reserves the right to award a purchase order to other than the low offeror. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation will be made available electronically via the Federal Business Opportunities website ( http://www.fbo.gov ). A hard copy of the solicitation will NOT be made available. Be advised that all interested parties MUST be registered in the System for Award Management Web Site formerly known as the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) Database in order to receive a contract award, If you are not registered in SAM, you may contact the SAM Help Desk at 1-888-606-8220 or register on-line at http://www.sam.gov Potential offerors MUST register at www.fedbizopps.gov/ in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. The closing date for receipt of quotes will be established in the solicitation.
