Description: The Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) and negotiate a new procurement modification under existing contract N00030-13-C-0010 on a sole-source basis to Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems - Marine Systems (NGES-MS), Sunnyvale, CA. This procurement will fulfill the ongoing FY 2013 technical support, (tactical, qualification, test, and support equipment) hardware production and technical engineering services required for the New START, Engineering Refueling Overhaul (ERO), TRIDENT II (D-5) missile hoist overhaul, and continued TRIDENT II (D-5) deployed SSBN Launcher system. The anticipated award of the resultant contract modification is September 30, 2013. An Award Notice will be publicized, when applicable, along with the supporting Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition (J&A), in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 5.301, 5.303, and 6.305 under separate notice. This effort is inextricably linked to work already being performed by NGES-MS under Contract N00030-13-C-0010, which was awarded 01 October 2012 using other than full and open competition.
