- NASA/GSFC has a requirement for three Pfeiffer Model Drytel 1025, Oil-Free Pumping Package. (3) Model Drytel 1025, Oil-Free Pumping Package with MDP 5011, 1 m 3/h primary pump(AMD 1), and 110/130V-50/60Hz (8) Double Claw Clamp (2) ISO63 to KF25, Conical Adapter (3) Inlet Screen, 2.5mm, ISO 63 NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the items from Pfeiffer Vacuum, the Alcate Model Drytel pumping assembly serves as the only commercial pumping station that can both achieve high vacuum specifications (i.e. <10-7 torr) while also functioning higher pressure (i.e. up to 760 torr, ambient Earth pressure). pursuant to Far 13.106 for the acquisition of supplies or services determine to be reasonably available from one source. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities statement and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 2:30 p.m. local time on August 14, 2013.Such statements will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an statement which shall be considered by the agency.
