- This is an intended sole source announcement. Space and Naval Warfare Center Atlantic (SPAWAR Atlantic), Code 2.2.3.3, intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order to Genesis Fiber Optic Splicing, Inc. to provide engineering and technical expertise necessary to provide a base infrastructure assessment and documentation as required for telecommunication services to Naval Station Norfolk and Joint Base Little Creek in accordance with the attached Statement of Work for the products listed below under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This synopsis is posted for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. No electronic or hard copy Request For Quote (RFQ) will be prepared or made available for distribution. This action will be conducted under FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. NAICS is 541990. CCR registration is required for all vendors doing business with the Department of Defense. Quotes are due to the Contract Specialist, Victoria Franklin at victoria.franklin@navy.mil by 9:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, 7 August 2013. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely withing the discretion of the Government.
