Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION ISSUANCE AT THIS MOMENT. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. There is no solicitation available at this time and same is upon avialabilty of funds. This synopsis is issued for the sole purpose of conducting market research in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. The Department of the Air Force 482nd LGC at Homestead ARB, FL intends to to seek qualified sources capable in filling the requirement of providing office furniture, installation and removal of debris, for empty repaired building 122 at Homestead Air Reserve Base (HARB), in Homestead, FL. Any formal solicitations will be announced separately. This is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information provided in response to this RFI. A site visit of the area for service is scheduled for 10 am on 07 August 2013. Provide the name(s) of the representative(s) from your company who will be attending by early afternoon on 06 August 2013. There will not be an opportunity to schedule an alternate day for a site visit if your company cannot attend. This will be a small business set-aside and the sub-categories of small businesses, are being looked at during our market research phase. We anticipate a single award contract using North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code of 337214. A fixed price contract will be awarded for the proposed performance period of either August or September 2013. All potential sources must have a DUNS number and registered in www.sam.gov at the moment of solicitation. The offer due date will be stated in the solicitation. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the FedBizOps website. Paper copies will not be available. No telephone calls or written requests for this solicitation package will be accepted. Once the solicitation is posted, it is the interested parties' responsibility to review the site frequently for any updates/amendments to the solicitation. We respectfully request industry response the attached office furniture design. Other instructions will be discussed during the site visit. Responses from interested offerors should include experience performing these services, current capabilities to perform these services and past or present teaming arrangements in performing similar services. Responses will not be considered proposals, nor will any award be made as a result of this request. Questions on the design beyond the response date will not be addressed. Questions regarding this acquisition should be addressed to ivelisse.hernandez@us.af.mil. Please include the following with your response: name and address of firm; Point of Contact with telephone number and e-mail address; size of business; average annual revenue for the past two years and number of employees; classification standard i.e. large, small, small disadvantaged, 8(a), HUBZone, etc, affiliate information: parent company, joint venture partners, and potential teaming partners; Contract and Government Entity (CAGE) code; Dun and Bradstreet Number and capability statement consisting of appropriate documentation, literature and brochures. Responses must be limited to no more than 5 pages. Submission of Capabilities Statement is not a prerequisite to any potential future offerings. Responses are required to be received in the contracting office no later than 04:00 P.M. local time on 6 June 2013 with confirmation of attendance to site visit.
