Description

This PRESOLICITATION serves as notification of an upcoming solicitation for a minor construction project in accordance with FAR Part 15 to prepare the site for severe weather conditions, including securing rooftop equipment, hardening glass and controlling sewer backups. The prospective contractor shall furnish labor and materials and perform work for the VBA Montgomery Regional Office, 345 Perry Hill Road, Montgomery, AL 36109. This project is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). NAICS used for this requirement is 238390, Other Building Finishing Contractor with standard size of $14M. The magnitude of this construction project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Potential contractors shall provide all management, supervision, labor, materials and supplies, and incidentals necessary to provide the required work. A site visit will be scheduled prior to solicitation closing date. An Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted on FedbizOps on or about August 15, 2013, with projected award date on or about September 14, 2013.
