- This is a Pre-Solicitaiton Notice for the US Army Contracting Command: Rock Island Contracting Center (RICC). Solicitation W560MY-13-R-0009 which serves as notification to Industry of the procurement for Intelligence Support Services to US Forces in Afghanistan (USFOR-A). The anticipated date for release of this Request for Proposal is on/or about 1 July 2013. Solicitation W560MY-13-F-0009 will be issued on a full and open/unrestricted basis. The requirement includes, but is not limited to: aiding in the coordination with other entities and agencies in the Combined Joint Operation Area Afghanistan (CJOA-A0. Performance will occur in the Afghanistan Theater of Operation (ATO) and other CONUS locations, as required. This acquisition will utilize LPTA source selection procedures. The Intelligence Support Services requirement within Afghanistan is predicted to change frequently based on the current security threat level within the ATO, the drawdown in Afghanistan, as well as the troop movement within theater. Based on the unknown quantity of services requested and the unknown frequency of the period of performance, this requirement will be satisfied through Hybrid Fixed Per Price with Cost Reimbursable CLINs for a base period of one year plus (2) one-year evaluated option periods. The following amendment to Pre-Solicitation W560MY13R0009 is to change the Points of Contact (POC) to SSG Boutchyard, James (Contract Specialist) and Janet Burgett-Jackson (PCO). An administrative amendment has been made to extend the response date from 1 August 2013 to 2 September 2013. All other information in this Pre-Solicitation remains the same.
