Description

No telephone requests will be accepted. Description: This action will be a modification to add NSNs to the corporate contract. The Government has a requirement for the following: NSN: 2840-01-392-1282, P/N: 2-103-090-14, Noun: Vane Segment, Fan, AI, QTY: 5 EA; Production Lead Time (PLT) without First Article Testing (FAT) is 404 Days After Receipt of Order (DARO); NSN: 2935-01-394-1003, P/N: 2-160-750-04, Noun: Cooler, Lubricating, QTY: 10 EA, PLT without FAT is 270 DARO; NSN: 3040-01-105-1531, P/N: 3500438-1, Noun: Gear shaft, QTY: 35 EA, PLT without FAT is 300 DARO; NSN: 4320-00-903-5580, P/N: 2-160-790-04, Noun: Pump Assembly, Fuel Boost, QTY: 20 EA, PLT with FAT is 315 DARO; PLT without FAT is 210 days after receipt of order; NSN: 4810-01-435-0853, P/N: 2-160-350-36, Noun: Actuator Assembly, Interstage Air Bleed, QTY: 5 EA, PLT without FAT is 420 DARO. This requirement is restricted to Honeywell International Incorporated, Cage Codes 02LU7. The data needed to acquire this part competitively is not physically available, it cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material for a competitive solicitation. In addition, the rights to use the data needed to purchase this part from additional source(s) are not owned by the Government and cannot be purchased, developed, or otherwise obtained. It is uneconomical to reverse engineer this part. Further, the rights to use the data needed to purchase this part from additional source(s) are not owned by the Government and cannot be purchased, developed, or otherwise obtained. It is uneconomical to reverse engineer this part. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR) and looking under Qualification Procedures for Missile Requirements (AMCOM pamphlet 702-1) and Policy Relating to Source Approval Request (SAR) for Missile Requirements. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. Drawings, specifications, or other technical data are not available and will not be furnished. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. Suggest those small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with this procurement, make contact with the firm listed. All offers must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Note 22 The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
