Description
The work includes finishing the basement level of the building to include offices, conference room, storage, exercise room, locker rooms, toilet room, kitchenette and the center stairs from the basement to the first floor. The west head house will have new concrete stair work and finished to match east head house and incidental related work. Civil work will remove landscaping along the south side of the building and regrading the areas to improve drainage. Reconfigurating the storm water design and sewer design. Structural work includes a new basement slab on grade, installing concrete stairs and foundation at the west head house, and repointing masonry walls throughout the basement level and incidental related work. Lead abatement work includes removal of masonry walls, and woodwork which are lead-containing or painted with lead-based paint. Dry ice blasting will be used to remove paint off of existing masonry walls. Removal of soil contaminated with lead will be removed. A new radon mitigation system will be installed as an underslab perimeter system that will be vented to the outside. Fire Protection work includes modifying the existing system that serves the basement. Plumbing work includes providing new toilet room and include plumbing for the complete renovations to the locker rooms in the basement. Mechanical work will include heating and cooling will be provided by floor mounted fan coil units and ventilation and exhaust by a separate recover ventilation system. The heat recovery ventilation and the duel temperature water system has been run down to the basement ceiling and will have new connections to the new basement systems. Electrical work includes new interior lighting and branch wiring. New telephone and data cabling and intermediate distribution frame. Fire alarm system will be moderately modified. The building security system will remain with minor modifications. CATV system cabling, splitting and amplifiers. Lighting protection system replacement. Exterior lighting on the south elevation will be replaced.
