Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Mid Atlantic Health Care Network (VISN 6) intends to negotiate a sole source commercial item procurement with Gambro Renal Products, Inc. for six Phoenix Dialysis Systems #103453 along with a trade-in allowance for six older units. The Phoenix Dialysis matches the units already being used, which uses our current software and server and interfaces with our existing Center Water Purification Reverse Osmosis systems for end-to-end disinfection. This proposed procurement is for these units which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than Noon, August 8, 2013, local time. Interested parties must submit all technical information required to make a determination the proposed units meet or exceed the specifications of the above referenced unit. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
