- Brand Name Justification (J&A) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is a 100% Small Business set-aside. The NAICS Code for this synopsis/solicitation is 334516, Size Standard 500 employees. Solicitation/Purchase Request number F2K2AC3206A002 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-69 effective 1 August 2013. The Government intends to award a contract for a Detector Equipment-Explosive and Chemical Identification at Kirtland Air Force Base, NM. THIS IS A BRAND NAME REQUIREMENT CLIN 0001: Detector Equipment-Explosive and Chemical Identification - 1 EA (First Defender RMX S-1) Shipping and Handling (FOB Destination) shall be included in price DESIRED DELIVERY DATE: 30 Days ADC (After Date of Contract) INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE: Destination The following provisions and clauses apply to this procurement: FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration; FAR 52.204-13, Central Contractor Registration Maintenance; FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items.
