Description

Sole Source Justification The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Procurement and Grants Office (PGO), intends to award a sole source contract to Getinge for the purchase of proprietary modification packs to their autoclaves currently installed on a CDC campus. Getinge is the sole source provider of the required door rebuild kits as the base units were manufactured by Getinge which maintains proprietary rights to their units. Any other source would jeopardize the integrity of the units and also void any warranty rights. This notice of intent is NOT a solicitation, request for competitive proposal or request for quote. However, all capability statements received after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses will be accepted via email ONLY to Ms. Sarah Gray at SGray1@cdc.gov no later than 8 August no later than 10:00 AM EST. No telephonic request will be honored.
