- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation F1C0CR3183A001 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). All solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC). 100% Small Business set-aside IAW FAR 19.502-2 (a). The NAICS code is 332999 and the small business size standard is 750. The following commercial items are requested: CLIN 0001- Purchase of 2100 cubic yards of 5000 psi H-0.75, (3/4" aggregate) concrete (non pump mix). Must be certified to comply with the guidlines of ACI 211.1- Standard Practice for Selecting proportions for normal, heavyweight, & mass concrete & ASTM C94 - Standard specifications for ready-mixed concrete. Mix may be modified to maintain yield, slump, setting time and strength. Prior to unloading, a maximum of twoo gallons of water per cubic yard may be added provided that the specification limits for slump, w/c ratio & time are not exceeded.
