- TITLE: 1650; CYLINDER ASSEMBLY, AIRCRAFT; F-18 AIRCRAFT; WSIC F PR: 0045179990, ISSUE DATE: 21 AUG 2013; CLOSING DATE: 23 SEP 2013 NSN: 1650-01-262-9434; PR: 0045179990; Item: Cylinder Assembly, Aircraft; P/N: 74A730307-1007. The item intended sources are: Boeing Company (CAGE 76301 & 0PXV4) or Raytheon Technical Services, (CAGE 072E5). DLA Aviation does not currently have an approved technical data package for this item, nor can the information be furnished by the government. This procurement is suitable for competitive acquisition, however requires engineering source approval by the design control activity. Any manufacturer, other than those listed above wishing to submit a proposal on this item must submit a complete source approval request (SAR) information may be found via http://www.aviation.dla.mil/userweb/sarguide.doc. This solicitation will result in an OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION (UNRESTRICTED) Firm Fixed Price contract for 30 each. This is a Critical Safety Item and a Critical Application Item. This item is subject to Configuration Control and Export Control. Government First Article Testing applies. The following terms apply: FOB DESTINATION; Inspection / Acceptance ORIGIN. Delivery for this procurement will be DLA DIRECT (STOCK) ship to: New Cumberland, PA. The First Article is due 274 days from date of award (DARO). Production delivery will be 274 days after first article acceptance (DAFAA). This solicitation includes provision 52.215-9023, Reverse Auction. Since a Reverse Auction may be conducted, offerors are encouraged to access the ProcureX system to self-register and review the available training tools at: dla.procurexinc.com to learn more about how to participate in an auction. Offerors who do not self-register will be loaded at the time of auction by DLA. Past Performance Automated System (PPIRS_SR) apply. Price, Past Performance and Delivery will be equally weighted. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This request is for a written quote. Please submit offers in writing. The solicitation issue date will be 21 August 2013 with a closing date of 23 September 2013. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DIBBS Website https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on the issue date cited in the RFP.
