- Description
- Amendment 1 Trail Creek Rehabilitation and Road Decomissioning project consists of rehabilitation of a segment of stream channel including temporary dewatering, construction of 4 boulder weir structures (62-foot segment), streambank/streambed reconstruction (20-foot long segment) and obliteration of 600-feet of road. Optional bid items are seeding and mulching of the obliterated road footprint. Primary equipment for stream work and road obliteration is to be a tracked CAT 325D excavator with bucket/thumb attachment or proven similar. The intent of the contract is to provide for the complete construction of the project as described in the contract. This project requires the Contractor to supply all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, freight and delivery, as well as all necessary licenses and permits required to complete the project in reasonably close conformity with the drawings and specification, and in accordance with the provisions of the contract. All services will be accomplished by use of Contractor furnished and Contractor operated equipment. The allotted time for this contract is thirty (30) days from the notice to proceed. All work shall be performed on the Arapaho/Roosevelt National Forest and Pawnee National Grasslands. Location The Trail Creek project is located on the Sulphur District, Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forest and Pawnee National Grassland. To get to the project, take US Highway 40 west from Granby, Colorado, turn northerly (right ) on US 34 toward Grand Lake, opposite Lake Granby turn northwest (left) onto Highway 4, continue approximately 6 miles to site. A pre-proposal site visit is scheduled for August 13, 2013 at 1:00 p.m.. Details of this meeting will be included in the solicitation. Government Estimate is less than $25,000.00 This is a total Service Disabled Veteran Owned small business set aside. The anticipated date for issuance of the solicitation is on or around July 30, 2013. The due date will be identified on the solicitation. The solicitation will be available for free download at www.fbo.gov. All questions pertaining to this solicitation must be submitted, in writing, to Malinda (Mindy) Jiminez at mrjiminezi@fs.fed.us no later than August 15, 2013. All Offerors shall be registered with the System of Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov in accordance to FAR 52.204-7 and FAR 52.204-8 (previously know as CCR and ORCA) to be considered responsive to this solicitation. All Offerors must respond to all evaluation criteria in Section M of the solicitation to be considered responsive to this solicitation. Offerors to fail to meet these three criteria will not be considered in the Technical Evaluation of offers.
