- RFQP03031300069 COVER LETTER The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Edgefield, South Carolina, intends to issue solicitation RFQP03031300069 for the requirement of: QUARTERLY MEATS. This solicitation is restricted to Total Small Business, FOB Destination, and the delivery date will be TUESDAY, OCTOBER 01, 2013. Should any scheduled delivery fall on a holiday, delivery will be made on the next business day, unless otherwise specified by the food service department. Food service reserves the right to make weekly adjustments on quantities and schedule, if needed, based on institutional needs. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution, 501 Gary Hill Road, Edgefield, South Carolina 29824. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The contracting official intends to make this award on an all or none basis. The Government will award to the responsible quoter whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered equally. All responsible small business concerns are encouraged to submit a quotation which may be considered. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, and award information will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. Quotes will be due WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 28, 2013 by 2:00 pm EST. The Government reserves the right to make payment using either Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or the Government Purchase Card. Each offer is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations can submit quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
