- The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue a bridge contract to BAE Systems Technology Solutions and Services, Inc. for continuing professional and engineering support services in support of Program Executive Office, Integrated Warfare Systems 5 (PEO IWS 5) pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). A cost plus incentive fee (CPIF) level of effort (LOE) contract shall provide for support services in four (4) primary areas: Integrated Logistics & Acquisition (IL&A) Support, Budget & Financial (B&F) Support, Operations & Administration (O&A) Support, and Systems Engineering & Technical Assistance (SETA). The contract shall also include a requirement for Not Separately Priced Data and Other Direct Costs on a cost only basis. The subject efforts will be transitioned to four (4) separate, competitively awarded SeaPort-e task orders. IL&A, BF& and O&A support will be transitioned to three (3) competitively awarded SeaPort-e OMNIBUS task orders. IL&A support services will be transitioned to the OMNIBUS task order resulting from solicitation N00024-13-R-3036. B&F support services will be transitioned to the OMNIBUS task order resulting from solicitation N00024-13-R-3041. O&A Support services will be transitioned to the OMNIBUS task order resulting from solicitation N00024-13-R-3042. SETA will be transitioned to a competitively awarded SeaPort-e task order resulting from solicitation N00024-13-R-3308. Until the task orders are competitively awarded, BAE is the only responsible source able to provide the subject professional and engineering support services without significant disruption to PEO IWS 5's operations. The contract will consist of a six (6) month base period and six (6) three (3) month options. Award is anticipated late October 2013. The contractor is expected to begin work upon award. This notice supersedes the requirements synopsized under N00024-13-R-5299 on 1 April 2013 and cancelled synopsis N00024-13-R-5298.
