Description
This ?Notice of Intent? is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all proposals received prior to the closing date of this notice will be considered by the Government. The Department of Energy?s (DOE), Office of Legacy Management (LM) has a requirement for immediate support to the continued success of LM?s efforts to provide and manage DOE?s post-closure obligations and to ensure the future protection of human health and the environment. Notice of Intent to extend Task Orders The Government intends to extend all active Task Orders under contract DE-AM01-07LM00060 to S.M. Stoller Corporation to satisfy this requirement. The following is a list of the active Task Orders: DE-AT01-08LM00501, DE-AT01-08LM00502, DE-AT01-08LM00503, DE-AT01-08LM00505, DE-AT01-08LM00515, DE-AT01-08LM00707, DE-AT01-08LM00710, DE-AT01-08LM00712, DE-DT0000562, DE-DT0001687, and DE-DT0002985. The extension will extend the existing Task Orders for a period of nine months (9) months, if all options are exercised. The S.M. Stoller Corporation is a leading provider of technical, environmental, ecological, waste management, remediation and consultation services to private sector companies and the government. Stoller offers expertise in facilities management, high-hazard site and groundwater remediation, ecological studies, radioactive and hazardous waste management, nuclear engineering, environmental surveillance, facility decommissioning, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance. In accordance with Competition in Contracting Act, 41 USC 253 [c] [1], as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, other than full and open competition is authorized when there is only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested parties may submit a capability statement by August 20, 2013 at 11:59pm local prevailing time (Washington, D.C.) via e-mail to obiajulum.diei-anene@hq.doe.gov. The written response must include a detailed discussion demonstrating experience providing services identified in this announcement and past performance client information for similar work. Questions regarding this notice are to be submitted via email to obiajulum.diei-anene@hq.doe.gov by August 13, 2013 at 8:00am local prevailing time (Washington, D.C.). Questions received after this date and time will not be addressed.
