Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Acquisition Operations, Strategic Acquisition Center (SAC), located 10300 Spotsylvania Ave, Suite 400, Fredericksburg, VA 22408, intends to enter into a contract on the basis of a sole source action for the procurement of Psychological Tests. The SAC intends to award a sole source, Firm Fixed Price (FFP), contract to NCS Pearson Inc., 5601 green Valley Drive STE 220, Minneapolis, MN 55437. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Person(s) interested in the new requirement may identify their interest and capability, and respond to this Notice of Intent. The Government will consider responses received while this announcement is posted. Inquiries will only be accepted via email to alexis.makelay@va.gov. No telephone requests will be honored. Justification for this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1- Only one responsible source and no other supplies or service will satisfy agency requirements, soliciting from a single source. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code for this effort is 511210, with a corresponding business size standard $35.5 million. The estimated date of award for this action is August 30, 2013.
