- CLASSIFICATION CODE: J- Maintenance, repair & rebuilding of equipment NAICS: 3334 - Repair and Maintenance/333413 - Ventilating Fans, Industrial and Commercial-Type, Manufacturing This is a combined solicitation/synopsis for commercial p[roducts and services prepared in accordance with FAR 16.603. The Marine Corps Logistics Base, Contracts Dept. Albany, GA has a requirement to upgrade the Exhaust Fume Ventilation System, which will include all necessary products, materials and installation services. This will be a Total Small Business Aside. All interested vendors should email their quotes to Howard.Boudlin@usmc.mil not later than September 6, 2013. You must include all contact information, CAGE Code, Tax identification Number and best delivery schedule with your quote. Please address any questions or concerns via email. 1. NSN: N/A 2. DESCRIPTION: This procurement requirement is to upgrade the existing Plymovent exhaust system at Fire station 1. This includes removal the existing exhaust drop in bay #3. This request is to include a magnetic grabber compatible with a 3" exhaust pipe on a Chevrolet Silverado (gas engine). Install a single track in the ambulance bay for two ambulances equipped with magnetic grabber attachments. All Necessary mechanical labor, electrical connections, ductwork, hardware, tail pipe modification drops, as well as inbound freight. The exhaust system shall include all hoses, rails, ducts, fans and controllers required and listed in the quote. The following establishes the minimum requirements for the purchase of the Plymovent Exhaust System: 1 STRA-45 System 1 End Stop Hydraulic Brake 3 Magnetic Grabber 5"-Lowe 5" hose assay STR 1 SBTA MG-Upper Hose Pack 20' x 5" 1 STRA MG-Upper Hose Pack 20' x 5" 3 Reducers 5"-3.5" kit 2 19' square leg extrusion 6 Side bracket kits short 20' 1 Fan 2HP 3450 rpm 115/208-230V, 1PH, 60HZ, TEFC Grey Control Operation system for 1.5HP, 230V, 1PH 3 Wireless Transmitters 1 Wireless Ford F Series Conversion kit 805564-K All Necessary mechanical labor, electrical connections, ductwork, hardware, tail pipe modification drops, as well as inbound freight. The contractor shall report ALL contractor labor hours (including subcontractor labor hours) required for performance of services provided under this contract for the MCLB Albany/CISD via a secure data collection site. The contractor is required to completely fill in all required data fields using the following web address https://doncmra.nmci.navy.mil. Reporting inputs will be for the labor executed during the period of performance during each Government fiscal year (FY), which runs October 1 through September 30. While inputs may be reported any time during the FY, all data shall be reported no later than October 31 of each calendar year. Contractors may direct questions to the help desk, linked at https://doncmra.nmci.navy.mil. All on-site work will be performed on MCLB Albany. The contractor shall follow Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety standards. Contractor access onto the base will be during normal duty hours, between 0700 and 1630, Monday through Friday.
