- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Drum, NY anticipates issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to industry based on the Defense Travel Regulations (DTR) part IV for a Requirements contract for a Firm Fixed Price Packing and Crating Services located at Fort Polk, LA. The Government intends to award a single contract for Packing and Crating Services located at Fort Polk, LA. The contract type will be a Requirements Contract with Firm Fixed Unit Prices (IAW FAR 16.503 Requirements Contracts) and options (IAW FAR 17.2 Options.) This requirement is 100% set aside for Small Businesses. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, transportation, resources, management, and other items and services necessary to perform all work in connection with the Direct Procurement Method (DPM) of Packing and Crating for Fort Polk, LA, in strict accordance with the Performance Work Statement, specifications and drawings, and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. The anticipated ordering period is 01 January 2014 through 31 December 2014 with Base plus four (4) one-year option periods. Any correspondence concerning this acquisition shall reference IFB number W9124E-13-B-3000 in the subject line. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 488991, Packing and Crating, size standard $25.5 Million. This procurement is one hundred percent set-aside for Small Business concerns. As prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004, interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) under the NAICS 488991. Representations and certifications must also be on record. These registrations can be done through the System for Award Management (SAM) for free at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. The anticipated posting date of the IFB is no sooner than 15 days after the publication of this notice. Upon release to the public, the IFB as well as the amendments will be available at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/solicitaiton.
