Description
Updated Pricing Table Amendment # 2 RFP 13-13 AMENDMENT # 2 The purpose of this amendment is to make the following additions & changes to the Request For Proposal (RFP) 13-13 for the Arts Data Repository services. 1. ADDITIONAL SERVICES Additional services are being added on in the form of option years (exercisable after the base period of performance). A portion of the services provided during the base year are being requested during the option years as well (in essence, Task 3 from original RFP). These specific services are being extended in that they shall begin at contract award and may continue during the option years as well if the option years are exercised. The services during the base period of performance are not being modified in any way - they remain exactly as stated in the original RFP. Additional services (Per option year) (In essence, Task 3 from original RFP) The following services are being added on for a total of four (4) option years: Maintaining the arts data repository including the addition of new datasets, metadata, and related research literature on an annual renewal basis as described below. The Contractor shall: On an annual basis, update, maintain, and add to this new thematic archive of arts data (including metadata) and links to research literature. Under this task, the contractor will work closely with the ORA at the NEA to identify approximately 10-12 new datasets, as well as all related data documentation and links to any research literature focused on any of the archival datasets, to be added to the archive annually, beyond the datasets that were loaded into the archive during the 60-week period of development and implementation. Run, monitor, update and maintain the database, addressing and fix any maintenance issues and providing technical assistance as and when needed to keep the repository functioning fully in coordination with the ORA. Provide technical assistance for other database users as needed. The first option year (if exercised) shall begin once the base period of performance is over (approximately 60 weeks after contract award) and shall end one (1) year from then. For example, if the base period of performance ends on Jan 15, the first option year shall begin on Jan 16 and end on Jan 15 of the following year, and so on for the following option years. The above services are not included in the original RFP, which includes only costs for the initial development and implementation of the archive. The contractor shall submit the additional pricing (to maintain and update the archive as described in this amendment) by filling out the attached updated Pricing Table which replaces the original Pricing Table from section B.2 of the original RFP. This updated Pricing Table MUST be submitted along with the contractor's proposal. This Pricing Table includes pricing for the option years mentioned. As stated in the original RFP, contractor shall submit pricing information in addition to this Pricing Table to show the breakdown of costs, etc. (RFP 13-13, pg. 16, "Price"). NOTES: All services (the ones stated in the original RFP and the ones stated in this amendment) are subject to the availability of funds. A contract award does not commit the Government in any way to any extension/option year(s). 2. MISCELLANEOUS a)The following clause has been added: 52.232-18 -- Availability of Funds (Apr 1984) Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. (End of Clause) b)Clause 52.217-9 (c) is corrected to read as follows (RFP 13-13, pg. 15): "The total duration of this contract, including any exercise of any options under this clause, shall not exceed 68 months." END OF AMENDMENT
