- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. ATC080-11-0034 (ED-12-080) For Atchafalaya Basin Construction, Channel Training, Repairs to Amerada Hess Closure, St. Martin and Iberia Parishes, Louisiana. The work consists of repairing an existing earthen closure across the Amerada Hess Canal near the intersection of the Atchafalaya River Main Channel (approximate Mile 86) and all operations incidental thereto. The closure repair location is subject to flooding from high river events. Earthen borrow shall be obtained from an open water source. THIS INFORMATION IS POSTED FOR SUBCONTRACTING OPPORTUNITIES ONLY.
