- The Southern Regional Contracting Office-Fort Gordon, GA intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP's); Solicitation number W81K00-13-R-0050 resulting in a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The Request for Proposal will be posted in Federal Business Opportunities and Army Single Face to Industry as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The requirement is for the personal services of 2 Full Time Equivalent Obstetric and Gynecology Physicians (OB/GYN) in support of Winn Army Community Hospital at Fort Stewart, GA. The primary NAICS Code is 621111 with a size standard of $10 Million. Federal Service Code: Q507. Contracting Office: Southern Regional Contracting Office -Fort Gordon Cell, Bldg 39706, 40th Street, Fort Gordon, GA 30905. Primary duties include, but are not limited to Provide inpatient, outpatient, surgical and on call OBYN services. Provide medical consultations to Nurse Midwives and Nurse Practitioners. Examine/Diagnose Obstetrical/Gynecological disorders. Obtain medical histories. Maintain medical records. Ensure timely dictation of inpatient services Determine the need for and order laboratory test. Description of Services: Base Period of Performance is 1 October 2013- 30 September 2014. Option Period 1: 1 October 2014-30 September 2015. Option Period 2: 1 October 2015-30 September 2016. Option Period 3: 1 October 2016-30 September 2017. Option Period 4: 1 October 2017-30 September 2018. The formal request for proposals shall be issued on or about August 12, 2013 through the Federal Business Opportunities website at https://www.fbo.gov. After this notice is posted and it is anticipated that offers will be accepted through September 12 2013.
