- Description
- The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting offers under Solicitation No. VA-786-13-R-0349 for the following service: The intent of an awarded contract shall be to perform grounds maintenance at Forest Hill Soldier Lot Cemetery, Madison, WI 53705 The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, supplies and on-site supervision required to perform grounds maintenance at Forest Hill Soldier Lot Cemetery, One Speedway Road, Madison, WI 53705 covering the period October 1, 2013 through September 30, 2018 (base year plus four option years). Forest Hill Soldier Lot is a National Shrine and the standards of maintenance and appearance at this cemetery must reflect this nation's concern for those interred there. For this reason, the contractor's strict adherence to the contract specifications is required and essential. Work shall be performed in strict accordance with all terms, conditions, specifications, schedules and drawings. Performance shall be in accordance with the requirements, conditions, terms and representations contained in this solicitation, any pertinent OSHA Occupational and Safety regulations, and any State and/or local regulations, laws and codes. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The NAICS Code is 561730. Size standard is $7Million. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from http://www.fbo.gov on or about August 7, 2013. Responses to the solicitation are due at noon EST. on August 21, 2013. Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at www.fbo.gov. Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining any amendments. Information shall be submitted in the manner requested in ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS. Failure to submit all documentation required as required so may result in your submission being determined non-responsive and removed from further consideration.
