- This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. <p> This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) and the provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-66. <p> The NAICS Code is 334516 and the small business size standard for this procurement is 500 or fewer employees. <p> The offeror shall include signed and dated statement as to the offerors size status for this procurement. <p> The requirement for the High Resolution Uncooled Camera is as follows: <p> REQUIREMENTS & SPECIFICATIONS: <p> Offerors shall submit a proposed Quote for: <p> 1. Introduction <p> NASA requires a High-Resolution Uncooled Camera (herein referred to as HRU Camera) to support laboratory tests beginning in October 2013. The HRU Camera will be used to provide thermal and radiometric measurements at infrared (IR) wavelengths. These applications require a miniature, ruggedized camera core for compact integration with interfacing facility and test-specific equipment. The HRU Camera will be subjected to a range of environmental and imaging extremes. Technical specifications for HRU Camera features operation and performance are described in the following section. <p> 2. (d) Comptroller General Examination of Record The Contractor shall comply with the provisions of this paragraph (d) if this contract was awarded using other than sealed bid, is in excess of the simplified acquisition threshold, and does not contain the clause at 52.215-2, Audit and Records -- Negotiation.
