- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, U.S. Penitentiary Lewisburg, PA intends to issue solicitation, RFQP020701513, for the removal and replacement of the existing roofs on the Outside Facilities Office and Outside Plumbing Shop. The successful contractor will provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove and dispose of approximately 6,000 square feet of a shingle roofing system and provide a complete, finished corrugated steel, exposed fastener panel roofing system in accordance with the Statement of Work. The period of performance is 120 days after receipt of the notice to proceed. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation will be available on or about August 8, 2013 with an anticipated closing date of August 29, 2013. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website http//www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this solicitation, including any amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Faith Based and Community Based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This is a 100% small business set-aside.
