Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial supply and/or service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This is a Request For Quote (RFQ) and the solicitation number is F2VTCD3207A001. This acquisition is set aside 100% for small business. The 6th Contracting Squadron, MacDill AFB, Florida, requires the following: DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: Repair Cannon Load Banks CLIN 0001 - Labor to repair Load Bank L-6100 Serial #2945 (includes box repairs) CLIN 0002 (3 Each) EBM W2G110-AK43-31 24VDC Fan CLIN 0003 (1 Each) Air Flow Switch CLIN 0004 (2 Each) Resistor Panel Bracket CLIN 0005 Labor to repair Load Bank L-6100 serial #3544 (includes box repairs) CLIN 0006 (1 Each) Air Flow Switch CLIN 0007 (5 Each) Magnecraft Relay 120 VAC 30A 389FXCX100 CLIN 0008 (9 Each) 6.2 OHM Resistor 30312 CLIN 0009 (1 Each) 155 Degree Thermal Switch CLIN 0010 Labor to repair Load Bank L-6100 serial #3545 (includes box repairs) CLIN 0011 (2 Each) Magnecraft Relay 120 VAC 30A 389FXCX100 (includes 2 each 20A TRIAC's) CLIN 0012 (1 Each) Capacitor.68UF @ 305VAC CLIN 0013 (1 Each) Freight (If applicable) For all (3) units to MacDill AFB, FL 33621 The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-67 effective 22 July 2013, DFAR DCN 20100710, and AFFAR AFAC 2013-0327. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 517410, Satellite Telecommunications. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 4899, Communications Services, Not Elsewhere Classified. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded. All interested parties must bid on all items. Award will be made to the lowest price offeror that provides the support that meets the performance characteristics as described in the solicitation. Any "or Equal" offers received will be sent to a technical representative for compatibility and/or functionality review. The Government also reserves the right to make no award at all. The following Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (AFFARS) clause applies and is incorporated in full text: 5352.201-9101 Ombudsman. (a) An ombudsman has been appointed to hear and facilitate the resolution of concerns from offerors, potential offerors, and others for this acquisition. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The existence of the ombudsman does not affect the authority of the program manager, contracting officer, or source selection official. Further, the ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals, the source selection process, or the adjudication of protests or formal contract disputes. The ombudsman may refer the party to another official who can resolve the concern. (b) Before consulting with an ombudsman, interested parties must first address their concerns, issues, disagreements, and/or recommendations to the contracting officer for resolution. Consulting an ombudsman does not alter or postpone the timelines for any other processes (e.g., agency level bid protests, GAO bid protests, requests for debriefings, employee-employer actions, contests of OMB Circular A-76 competition performance decisions).
