- This posting is hereby amended to incorporate details about upcoming Industry Day: The San Antonio SAME Small Business Market Research Fair is being held on 20-22 August 2013 at Eilan Hotel in San Antonio, TX. During this event, the 772 Enterprise Sourcing Squadron (ESS) in conjunction with the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC), Lackland Air Force Base, TX, will discuss AFCEC Business Opportunities and conduct an Industry Day for Solicitation # FA8903-13-RFI_AFCEC_Construction_IDIQ on 22 August (0800-1200). The solicitation states the requirement is to perform worldwide and regional construction, restoration, emergency response, repair, enhancement, maintenance, and demolition of facilities, utilities, real property systems, and infrastructure in support of construction and engineering requirements. Design and construction and other engineering activities may include commercial and industrial projects such as airfield and pavement projects, fuels projects, energy projects, Military Construction (MILCON), community development projects, restoration, modernization and restoration of existing facilities and requirements, such as homeland security, force protection, and Military Family Housing projects. The purpose of this Industry Forum is to establish a path forward for the formal Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Synopsis.
