- Description
- The USDA Forest Service Western Wildland Environmental Threat Assessment Center (WWETAC) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis under the authority 6.302-1 - only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements with Kingbird Software, LLC, Moscow, ID to continue development for mapping and GIS analytical capabilities for wildfire risk analyses, online media analyses, and climate change for the Wildfire Tools ArcMap Extension. Tasks and Deliverables 1. Values Affected by Fires Tool (raster) - additional tool to calculate population affected by fires for raster input 2. Values Affected by Fires Tool (vector) - additional tool to calculate value affected by fires for polygon input and user selected attribute 3. Early Warning System Enhancements - download of current NDVI maximum value composites. Option to choose data time window for analysis 4. Threat News Explorer Enhancements - enhancements to add Twitter searches for Wildfire tracking 5. DGVM Simulation Map Services and Layers - DGVM simulation outputs converted and added as new WMS map services. Map services consumed by existing Threat Mapping application and displayed as layers This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all responsible sources will be considered. All responses must be submitted in writing within 15 calendar days of publication of this notice.
