Description

This is a market survey for a Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order for a 100 Ton Chiller, High Pressure, Air Cooled Condenser with installation and other services. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore, any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense. At this time the nature of the competition has not been determined. The FAA may decide to do a full and open competition or set aside all or part of the procurement for small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, 8(a) certified firms, and all other business types and sizes, capable of providing specified Course Instruction. This market survey is also being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the competition among small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or 8(a) certified firms. The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 333415, Air-Conditioning and Warm Air Heating Equipment and Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturing, with a size standard of 750 employees. Interested firms are required to submit the attached Business Declaration form and a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable. All responses to this market survey must be received by 12:00 p.m. CST, 08/12/2013. All submittals should be submitted by email to andrew.hutchcraft@faa.gov; or mailed to: Federal Aviation Administration Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center Multi-Purpose Bldg., Room 373 (AMQ-310) 6500 S. Mac Arthur Blvd. Oklahoma City, OK 73125 ATTN: Andrew Hutchcraft SCOPE OF SERVICE Provide one 100 ton chiller, high pressure, air cooled condenser Provide crane and rigging services (if needed) Removal and dispose of refrigerant. Remove and disposal of old chiller. Extend existing chiller pad. Set new chiller in place on pad. Provide and install exhaust fan in equipment room (ASHRAE15 compliance). Install refrigerant monitor and interlock with new fan and existing intake louvers, Cap existing condenser water piping. Dig ditch for piping and electrical to remote condenser. Fabricate and install refrigerant piping from chiller to condenser. Pour new concrete pad for condenser Set new condenser on pad. Install vehicle barriers (bollards) at condenser pad. Provide labor and material to re-pipe chiller (chilled water, relief, and refrigerant). Insulate new chilled water piping. Re-connect electrical supply to chillers. Provide factory start-up. Verify operation.
