- Solicitation This solicitation was posted as N61331-13-R-0026 through the Navy Electronic Business Opportunities website known as NECO; the website at www.navy.neco.mil is currently down. The purpose of this solicitation is to ensure all documents previously posted to NECO are available in FEDBIZOPPS. Please see attachement The purpose of this modification is to add the site visit information to the synopsis. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City, Florida intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price (FFP) type contract for the Navy Experimental Diving Unit†TM s Tri-Gas Mixer: CLIN 0001: Tri-Gas Mixer For Mixed Gas Diver Lifeâ€"Support Systems: Helium, Oxygen, Nitrogen Blending For Diver Breathing. Installation will be in accordance with the solicitation†TM s Statement of Work. The Government†TM s scheduled site visit for potential offerors is 10:00 a.m. (CST), May 1, 2013 at NSWC PCD, 110 Vernon Ave, Panama City, FL, 32407. Contractors interested in the site visit shall e-mail Corey Rezner at corey.rezner@navy.mil, on or before 3:00pm (CST), 24 April 2013 and provide the following information with their request: Name and citizenship of individuals that require base access, name of the company, name, telephone number, e-mail address of company†TM s point of contact, CAGE Code and applicable company NAICS Code. All questions must be submitted in writing to the Contract Specialist at corey.rezner@navy.mil no later than May 3, 2013. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement, or any follow-up information requests. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation and/or attending the site visit. The Government anticipates releasing the solicitation electronically on or about May 2, 2013 with an anticipated award on or about June 30, 2013. The period of performance and final acceptance will be 180 days after contract award. Work will be performed at the Navy Experimental Diving Unit (NEDU), 321 Bullfinch Rd, Panama City, FL 32407. The resultant contract will be firm fixed price. All prices will be evaluated at the time of award. The Department of Defense will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the System Award Management (SAM) database.
