- AMENDMENT 0002: EFFECTIVE 07 AUGUST 2013: THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO EXTEND THE CLOSING DATE TO 15 AUGUST 2013 VICE 07 AUGUST 2013. ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS REMAIN UNCHANGED. ======================================================== AMENDMENT 0001: EFFECTIVE 30 JULY 2013; THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO CORRECT THE MINIMUM GOVERNMENT REQUIREMENT TO TAKE OUT THE 150 MILE RADIUS REQUIREMENT FOR VENDORS TO BID. ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS REMAIN UNCHANGED. ======================================================== This is a SSC Pacific combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Competitive quotes are being requested under N66001-13-T-6684. This requirement is total small business set aside, NAICS code is 334417 and business size standard is 500 employees. SEE ATTACHED DRAWINGS; FIRST ARTICLE TEST METHOD AND SF 18. GOVERNMENT'S MININUM REQUIREMENTS Fabricate one each of the cable assemblies in attached "drawings.pdf" file. Any company bidding on this job must provide Qty 1: PN 0221979-1 to be used for first article testing IAW "0225451 Cable Assembly Test Methods." Due to the nature of the cable assemblies, the government has provided first article testing parameters to inform potential vendors on how SSC Pacific will conduct inspection. Upon receipt of first article, Government requests two weeks to test and provide results to vendor. If first article does not pass testing, Government requests termination of remaining items. Basis for award: The government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price purchase order. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-67 (07/22 /13) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), DPN 07/10/13.
