Description

THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. This is a notification of the intent to issue an award on a sole source basis to Dell, Inc. Availibilty of the NVIDIA Tesla M2090 computing processors for use with an existing Dell C41 Ox PCI Express expansion chassis is limited to Dell, Inc. because the item must be fitted with manufacturer-certified components in order to properly run with current USNO computers. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by the specific response date. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement action based upon the responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. The procurment is being processed through other than full and open competition pursuant to the statutory authority of 41 U.S.C. 251, as implemented by FAR 8.405-6(b). All responses may be emailed to Sean M. Bennett at sean.m.bennett@navy.mil No Later Than 1700 EST on 16 August 2013.
