- Draft SOW for 5601 Fishers Lane A/V Equipment & Installation The purpose of this notice is to announce the upcoming pre-solicitation conference for NIAID's 5601 Fishers Lane A/V Equipment & Installation requirement. The conference will be held with prospective offerors on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 from 9:00 am - 12:30 pm EST. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Conference location will be provided to participants upon registration. The pre-solicitation conference will be held for the purpose of providing information concerning the Government's requirement which may be helpful in the preparation of offers and for answering any questions which you have regarding the attached draft Statement of Work (SOW). All attendees must pre-register for the conference no later than August 12, 2013 5:00 pm EST by submitting attendee's names and company affiliation Ms. Tamara McDermott at mcdermotttk@niaid.nih.gov. Because of space limitations, each prospective offeror shall be limited to a total of no more than two representatives. Conference location, directions, parking and event agenda will be furnished with registration confirmation. The success of this type of conference depends largely on the lead-time available to the Government for research in connection with questions submitted by offerors. Therefore, you are requested to email questions concerning any areas of uncertainty which, in your opinion, require clarification or correction, in sufficient time to be received on or before Monday, August 12, 2013, 5:00 pm Eastern to Ms. Tamara McDermott, Contract Specialist at mcdermotttk@niaid.nih.gov. Your questions should be emailed to the contract specialist and the subject line should be marked, "Pre-solicitation conference, HHS-NIH-NIAID-RML-PSC-13-001." Please include your name, company, contact information and section of the SOW where the questions pertain in your response. All questions and answers will be incorporated into the upcoming RFQ so they are available to all prospective offerors. Attendance at the pre-solicitation conference is highly recommended; however, attendance is not a prerequisite for offer submission and will not be considered a factor in evaluation of offers. Attendees will be provided with A/V bid set drawings.
