Market Survey Reference ID: DTFAAC-13-R-00047 The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) located in Oklahoma City, OK has a requirement for KONICA MINOLTA Office Machine Equipment Repair and Maintenance. The requirement is for onsite (Oklahoma City) maintenance services for the following Government-owned copier and fax machines: Copy Machine Manufacturer: Konica Minolta Model: BIZHUB C550 Serial Number: A00J011000134 Estimated copy usage Black & White: 40,000 Color: 30,500 Total: 70,500 Annually Copy Machine Manufacturer: Konica Minolta Model: BIZHUB C754 Serial Number: 1001999 Estimated copy usage Black & White: 80,000 Color: 100,000 Total: 180,000 Annually Fax Machine Manufacturer: Konica Minolta Model: 3900 Serial Number: 1392-311000611 The requirement is for maintenance services defined to include all labor, materials, tools, parts, and consumables as necessary to restore equipment that is in an inoperable or degraded condition to normal operating effectiveness. See attached draft Statement of Work for more information. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendors expense. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from large businesses, small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and 8(a) certified firms, capable of fulfilling this requirement. This market survey is also being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the competition among small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or 8(a) certified firms or if full and open competition is appropriate. At this time the nature of the competition has not been determined. Depending on the responses received from the market survey, the FAA may decide to do a full and open competition or set aside all or part of the procurement for small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program. The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for this effort is 811212, Office Machine repair and maintenance, with a size standard of $25.5 Million. HOW TO RESPOND TO THIS MARKET SURVEY: Interested contractors should submit the following information to the point of contact listed at the bottom of this announcement: 1. Business Declaration form and a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable. 2. Capability Statement - This document should identify: a) Type of services provided by your firm b) Number of years in business c) Geographic area where your company can provide services NOTE: Oklahoma City, OK is the specific place of performance d) Previous experience for work involving similar scope 3. Expected programmatic approach (in-house, teaming, subcontracting, etc.) - Respondents must provide their strategy for accomplishing this work, including the percentage of work that will be done by eligible small, service-disabled veteran-owned and 8(a) certified businesses. 4. General Pricing Information. Interested parties are requested, but not required, to provide an estimated top-level rough order of magnitude (ROM) to include a range of the estimated total fixed price cost for the effort as defined in the SOW. Details or breakdowns are not necessary during the market survey phase. The anticipated contract type is a fixed price purchase order for a period of one year. Any pricing information rendered is for information purposes only and is not to be construed to be binding in any manner by either the government or the contractor. 5.
